Adaptation based on seinen manga by Ranjou Miyake features animation production by Geno Studio
A new key visual (below) has been revealed for pet, an upcoming TV anime based on the psychic thriller seinen manga by Ranjou Miyake about a group of despised individuals who have the ability to enter other people's minds and manipulate their memories.
The story of pet follows a group of psychics that have the power to telepathically dive into the minds of other people in order to manipulate their memories. This power is often used for hiding the evidence of crimes (such as assassination), and it corrupts the hearts of those who wield it. The people who practice this fearful ability are known as "pets", a term of loathing and contempt.
Originally published by Shogakukan, the Pet: Remaster Edition manga is currently published in Japan by Kadokawa under their Beam Comic imprint. The pet TV anime is directed by Takahiko Omori and features animation production by Geno Studio. The series is scheduled to broadcast in Japan in 2019.
