Futuristic firefight Galo Thymos is ready for action in a key visual for TRIGGER's PROMARE theatrical anime film.

New York-based film distributors GKIDS has published a hot new English-subtitled trailer for PROMARE, the first feature length anime theatrical film from director Hiroyuki Imaishi and Studio TRIGGER. The new trailer (below) introduces the main characters and central conflict of PROMARE.

GKIDS describes the story of PROMARE as follows:

Thirty years has passed since the appearance of the Burnish, a race of flame-wielding mutant beings, who destroyed half of the world with fire. When a new group of aggressive mutants calling themselves Mad Burnish appears, the epic battle between Galo Thymos, a new member of the anti-Burnish rescue team Burning Rescue, and Lio Fotia, the leader of Mad Burnish begins.
