Human Biology is Art in Cells at Work! Exhibit in Tokyo

October installation at the Matsuya Ginza department store features some 150 works of art

White Blood Cell, aka Neutrophil, springs into action in the Cells at Work! TV Anime.


Cells at Work!, the manga and TV anime about the 37.2 trillion hard-working cells within the human body, is undertaking a new labor in the form of an art exhibition that will run from October 09 - 22, 2019, at the Matsuya Ginza department store in Ginza, Chuo Ward, Tokyo, Japan.

The exhibition features some 150 pieces of art, including manga pages, color illustrations, and original paintings, as well as a photo spots that allow visitors to project themselves into the hectic, microscopic world of Cells at Work!.


The installation will be located in the Event Square space on the 8th floor of Matsuya Ginza, and tickets to the exhibit range in price from 800 yen ($7.59 US) for advance children's tickets to 2200 yen ($20.87 US) for the deluxe ticket package (with the voice guide and bonus goods) at the door.
