GeGeGe no Kitaro Scares Up Its Own VR Experience

App for Lenovo Mirage Solo with Daydream is due out very soon

GeGeGe no Kitaro

Fans of Shigeru Mizuki's classic GeGeGe no Kitaro manga and its anime adaptation will soon get to experience the world in another dimension. Hot on the heels of our posts about the Helpful Fox Senko-san VR app comes GeGeGe no Kitaro: Tamashii to Art VR Tamashii no Okuribi, which is coming "very soon" to the Lenovo Mirage Solo with Daydream standalone VR headset.

The exclusive VR experience has a peach-colored spirit pulling players into the GeGeGe no Kitaro world, where they meet Kitaro, Medama-oyaji, and Neko Musume at an Obon festival. To make it back to your own world you'll need to help guide wandering spirits back to the land of the dead and send the peach-colored spirit back to where it came from.

There's no word about an English release yet, but you can see a teaser below.
