Rookie goddess Lista is fed-up with her chosen hero in The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious.

Some protagonists are a bit slow to answer when destiny comes calling, or at least that's the case in the new preview video for The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious (known in Japan as Shincho Yusha: Kono Yusha ga Ore TUEEE Kuse ni Shincho Sugiru), an upcoming TV anime based on the series of comic fantasy isekai light novels written by Light Tuchihi and illustrated by Kakuyomu about a rookie goddess and a hero candidate who prepares way too much before saving the world.

The original The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious novels are published in Japan by Kadokawa under their Kadokawa Books label, and an English language adaptation is also in the works from Yen Press, who descibe the story of the series as follows:

The goddess Lista summons a hero who excels in every area to assist her. He's everything she expected him to be except for one, tiny thing: this anxious hero can't do anything unless he's absolutely sure nothing can go wrong!
