Kono Oto Tomare! Plays on with Second Cour PV

Get your first sample of Yuma Uchida's new theme, "Rainbow"

The members of the Tokihise High School Koto club are back for a second cour, and we've got a new look at what's to come!

Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life is due to continue this month, following the group of Japanese string instrument enthusiasts as they aim for the Koto Nationals. The latest PV also includes a sample of "Rainbow," performed by Yuma Uchida (the voice of Kudo):

Based on the manga by Amyu, Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life is licensed in the U.S. by Funimation:

Down to its last member, the koto club will accept anyone who is interested in the traditional Japanese instrument. But when a delinquent and a prodigy player sign up, finding harmony isn’t going to be easy—especially not with ensemble competitions looming around the corner. With enough time and some incredible skill at the strings, perhaps this motley crew can strike a chord with the judges.

The second cour begins this Saturday, October 5.
