In This Corner Of The World Anime Film Extended Edition Full Trailer Introduces More Newly-Animated Scenes
The 150-minute edition that reflects the director's original vision hits theaters December 20, 2019
The official website for the anime film Kono Sekai no (Sarani Ikutsumono) Katasumi ni / In This Corner (and Other Corners) of the World has posted a 100-second full trailer to introduce more newly animated scenes focusing on the friendship between the protagonist Suzu Hozo (CV: Non) and Rin Shiraki (Nanase Iwai). Rin is a courtesan at the yukaku (courtesan house) Futabakan, and the new clip hints at a secret relationship between her and Suzu's husband Shusaku in the past.
In addition, the clip shows a new character for the extended edition, Teru voiced by Kana Hanazawa (Kuroneko in Oreimo, Red Blood Cell in Cells at Work!), another courtesan at Futabakan. She is one of the characters who appeared in Fumiyo Kouno's original manga but didn't make appearance in the film's 129-minute first version released in 2016.
The 150-minute new edition with newly-animated 30-minute footage that reflects the director's original vision is set to be released in Japan on December 20, 2019.
