Death Is Merely the Beginning in ID: INVADED TV Anime Trailer

Original animation series from director Ei Aoki hits Japanese airwaves in January of 2020

Sakaido, a self-proclaimed "great detective", ponders the murder of Kaeru-chan in the strange virtuality world of ID: INVADED.


A new trailer explores the strange and enigmatic worlds of ID: INVADED, an upcoming original animation series framed as a science fiction murder mystery set in a virtual reality setting.



The story ID: INVADED follows Sakaido (CV: Kenjiro Tsuda), a self-proclaimed "great detective" who traverses numerous surreal virtual worlds in an effort to unravel the death of a mysterious girl named "Kaeru-chan"...all the while accepting his own death.


A new key visual for the original TV anime ID: INVADED, coming to Japanese TV in 2020.


ID: INVADED is directed by Ei Aoki (Re:CreatorsHourou Musuko Wandering Son). The series will broadcast on Japanese TV in beginning in January of 2020.
