A spicy new preview video has been published for the second original animation video of Queen's Blade UNLIMITED, the latest anime series based on the HobbyJAPAN's series of ecchi fantasy combat books using the "Lost Worlds" rule system in which warrior women risk their lives (and lose their clothing) in an effort to earn the right to rule the magical land of Gynos.

The second Queen's Blade UNLIMITED OAV is entitled "Jyoou-heika Gozenjiai" ("Contest Before Her Majesty, The Queen"). The story follows Tomoe, a shrine priestess who has traveled to Gynos from the far-off land of Hinomoto in search of a special medicine to cure an illness afflicting the emperor. Tomoe clashes with the bandit warrior, Risty, and their conflict is witnessed by Queen Aldra, who recruits them into the Queen's Blade competition. Meanwhile, Erina, Airi, and Michelle encounter Menace, the former ruler of an ancient kingdom.

Queen's Blade UNLIMITED is directed by Mayu Kisaragi and features animation production by Fortes. The second OAV will be released in Japan on February 28, 2020. The Bluray edition retails for 7000 yen ($64.42 US) plus tax, while the DVD edition retails for 6000 yen ($55.22 US) plus tax.
