Franchouchou Goes to Hollywood in Zombieland: Double Tap Team-Up

Collaboration includes key visual, promo video, and zombie voice acting roles

The girls of Franchouchou gather around a local magazine in a scene from the ZOMBIE LAND SAGA TV anime.

In a team-up that seems almost inevitable, the living dead girls of zombie idol group Franchouchou from ZOMBIE LAND SAGA have been tapped to promote the Japanese release of Zombieland: Double Tap, a 2019 horror-comedy film directed by Rubin Fleischer, and the collaboration includes some unexpected results.

In addition to the promo video (above) featuring Kotaro Tatsumi (voiced by Mamoru Miyano) informing the girls that they're going to make their Hollywood debut and narrating the trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap, the collaboration also includes a movie poster for Zombieland: Double Tap featuring Franchouchou (and the Saga Prefectural Goverment building) in the background.

A key visual for the collaboration between Zombieland: Double Tap and ZOMBIE LAND SAGA, featuring the characters of Zombieland: Double Tap in the foreground and the girls of Franchouchou (in zombie form) and the Saga Prefectural Government building in the background.

Additionally, one or more of the members of Franchouchou will play small voice roles as background zombies in the Japanese dub of Zombieland: Double Tap. The exact members who will participate have not yet been revealed. Zombieland: Double Tap hits theaters in Japan on November 22, 2019.
