Tetsuya Nomura and other key staff members comment on the production
There aren't many games as eagerly anticipated as Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Square Enix stoked the flames of hype some more with a new batch of screens and some additional info. In addition to sharing new key visuals featuring Aerith (above) and Barret, a blog post went up with comments from director/concept designer Tetsuya Nomura and other members of the team.
While we still have to wait until March 3, 2020 for the first part of Remake, Nomura casually mentioned the fact that they've already started working on the next one.
The blog post also provides an intro for producer Yoshinori Kitase, story and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, co-director Naoki Hamaguchi, scenario design co-director Motomu Toriyama, graphics and VFX director Shintaro Takai, battle director Teruki Endo, environment director Takako Miyake, lighting director Iichiro Yamaguchi, character modeling director Masaaki Kazeno, and animation director Yoshiyuki Soma.

And a bunch of new screens, which start with a look at Biggs, Jessie, and Wedge before introducing Reno and Rude of the Turks and diving into the game's action.
There's also a look at the option to switch to Classic Mode, which adheres more closely to the turn-based gameplay of the original:
Locations, including the church in the slums and Aerith's home:
And Materia, weapon enhancement, the new Chocobo and Moogle Summon, bike battles, and the darts minigame in Seventh Heaven.
