Fairy Tail Anime Announces The Result of Character Popularity Poll

The 328-episode TV series is available on Crunchyroll

The TV anime adaptation of Hiro Mashima's action fantasy manga series Fairy Tail premiered in Japan on October 12, 2009, and ended its 328-episode run on September 29, 2019. In commemoration of its tenth anniversary, the anime's official Twitter launched an online character popularity poll on October 12, 2019, exactly ten years after its first episode's premiere day.

 

The fans were able to vote for three of their favorite characters from the ones who appeared in the TV anime episodes (the characters who appeared only in the manga or feature films were excluded). Voting ended at 23:59 on November 4 (JST), then its result was announced as below today.

The characters who got only one vote:

 

Master Zero, Totomaru, Erigor, Kyouka, Jackal, Imitatia, Yajima, Mest, Sorano, Mary Huse, Mato-kun, Kinana, etc.

 

  


 

The TV anime's first season was aired for 175 episodes from October 12, 2009 to March 30, 2013, then its second season followed with 102 episodes from April 5, 2014 to March 26, 2016. Its third season titled "Final Series" in Japan was aired for 51 episodes from October 7, 2018, to September 29, 2019. All episodes are available on Crunchyroll.
