The third chapter was originally set to premiere this year

Eureka Seven fans are going to have to wait a little longer to see how the Hi - Evolution anime film trilogy comes to an end. The third and final entry was originally scheduled to premiere this year, but the BONES production has since been delayed to 2021.

The latest news comes from the official Eureka Seven website, but it didn't provide a reason for the delay.

While everyone waits patiently for the 2021 premiere, the second movie—Anemone: Eureka Seven: Hi - Evolution—is coming back for a special screening at Tokyo's Shinjuku Wald 9 theater on December 23. Chief director Tomoki Kyoda will be on hand for a stage greeting along with voice actress Kaori Nazuka (Eureka) and BONES president and producer Masahiko Minami.
