Find Out How a NENDOROID is Made in Crunchyroll's New Documentary

Crunchyroll visited the Good Smile Company office and factory for a peek at the process

Crunchyroll's production team is at it again with another informative, insightful, and entertaining behind the scenes documentary. Following previous videos diving into the production of Dr. STONE and Food Wars!, this one takes us down a different path to find out how a NENDOROID is made.

To fully explore the process, Crunchyroll took a trip to Good Smile Company's office in Tokyo and their factory in Tottori. They met up with the folks responsible for every step of production, from the initial design work to sculpting, painting, and packaging the world famous figures. You'll even get a chance to follow the planning stages of the Raphtalia NENDOROID from The Rising of the Shield Hero.

Get started above with a brief history lesson from Good Smile Company representative director Aki Takanori. You'll find out how the company went from a talent agency to the large hobby manufacturer we know them as today, and what it takes to make these adorable and collectible figures. Don't forget to subscribe to Crunchyroll's YouTube channel for more videos like this one!
