Takuya Sato (STEINS;GATE) directs the series at LIDENFILMS and FelixFilm
It was announced on March 5 that Iori Miyazawa's novel series Otherside Picnic will be getting a TV anime series. Alongside the announcement, which included the lead staff on the anime, a key visual was released featuring the main characters Sorao Kamikoshi and Toriko Nishina.
Otherside Picnic will be directed by Takuya Sato (STEINS;GATE) at LIDENFILMS and FelixFilm who is also working on the series composition. J-Novel Club publishes the novels in English and describes it as:
Her first encounter with Toriko Nishina was on the Otherside after seeing "that thing" and nearly dying. Ever since that day, exhausted university student Sorawo Kamikoshi's life changed.
