Indie group Mili to helm the ending theme for the TV anime
Things are looking grim in upcoming TV anime GLEIPNIR that got a new trailer ahead of its April 5 broadcast in Japan. The trailer, alongside the new key visual, announced the broadcast date, as well as the ending theme song artist, joining the previously announced former Kalafina member Hikaru Masai, who will be performing the opening theme as part of her new group, H-el-ical//.
Classical indie Japanese band Mili, who performed the opening theme “Rightfully” for GOBLIN SLAYER, will be performing the ending theme song. Director Kazuhiro Yoneda (Yona of the Dawn) will be helming the TV anime at anime studio PINE JAM. The cast and staff for the flesh biting TV anime was previously announced.
Kodansha, which publishes the English language version of the GLEIPNIR edgy love comedy manga by Sun Takeda, describes the series as such:
Shuichi Kagaya is an ordinary high school kid in a boring little town. But when a beautiful classmate is caught in a warehouse fire, he discovers a mysterious power: he can transform into a furry dog with an oversized revolver and a zipper down his back. He saves the girl’s life, sharing his secret with her. But she’s searching for the sister who killed her family, and she doesn’t care how degrading it gets: she will use Shuichi to accomplish her mission …
