Anime Central 2020 Officially Canceled Due to Coronavirus Concerns
2021 event will be held May 21-23, 2021

Another convention has been canceled in the wake of the continuing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This time it's Anime Central 2020, which was set to be held May 15-17 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare and the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.
After careful consideration, the Board of Directors and Anime Central Leaders decided to cancel this year's event rather than simply postponing. The 2021 convention will take place May 21-23, 2021.
You can read ACEN's full statement on the official website and Twitter, including what cancellation means for attendees, retailers, artists, and guests, and how to request a refund.
