Violet Evergarden: The Movie is scheduled to open on April 24 in Japan
Earlier this week, a new visual for the upcoming Kyoto Animation anime film, directed by Taichi Ishidate, Violet Evergarden: The Movie was released. Now on March 20, to accompany the visual, a new trailer was released, highlighting the internal dilemma that Violet goes through every day after the trauma she has been through.
Violet Evergarden: The Movie was originally scheduled to be released in January 2020, but was delayed to do the arson attack on the studio in July 2019. Thankfully, the team had already finished the side-story film, Violet Evergarden - Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll -, which will hit Netflix on April 3 after being released in Japanese cinemas in September 2019.
Violet Evergarden: The Movie is scheduled to be released in Japanese theatres on April 24.
