Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop Anime Film Release Date Pushed Back

The already-purchased advance ticket will be able to be used during the new schedule



The official website for the upcoming original anime film Cider no You ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru (Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop) announced today that its domestic release date has been postponed from May 15 to a later date. The site writes the decision was made after careful consideration of the Japanese government's announcement regarding the spread of new coronavirus infections in Japan.


The new date will be announced on the film's official website and SNS as soon as it is decided. The advance ticket printed with the May 15 date that have been already purchased will be able to be used during for the screenings in the new schedule.





The film is produced as the tenth-anniversary project for Victor Entertainment's anime music label FlyingDog. Kyohei Ishiguro (Your Lie in April) is attached to direct on a screenplay by Dai Sato (Mysterious Joker). Yukiko Aikei (Aikatsu Star!) serves as character designer, Signal.MD and Sublimation co-work on anime production.
