Hello Kitty and Shimajiro Team-Up for Children's Calisthenics Videos

Mascot characters aim to lift the spirits of parents and kids impacted by current stay-at-home conditions

Suit actors portray Shimajiro and Hello Kitty in a scene from the Minna to Issho Taiso Youtube video.

 

In order to lift the spirits of children and parents impacted by the current stay-at-home conditions, Sanrio mascot character Hello Kitty and Benesse Kodomo Challenge character Shimajiro have teamed up for the "Daisuki na Minna to Issho Project" (translated in English as "You'll always have your friends."), a series of Youtube videos where popular mascot characters teach their viewers how to perform calisthenics to keep their minds and bodies healthy.

 

 

The weekly video series will also include appearances from other mascot characters, such as Kumamon and Cheburashka. For international viewers, an English-language version will be released on April 22, 2020, and a Chinese language version will be release on April 27, 2020.
