LiSA's Demon Slayer OP Song Dominates Oricon Weekly Digital Charts for Two Consecutive Weeks Again

The song has still sat on the No.1 spot of Billboard Japan's Hot Animation ranking

The momentum has shown no signs of slowing. According to Oricon's latest weekly digital single charts reported on May 5, LiSA's 15th single song "Gurenge" took the No.1 spot for two consecutive weeks with 22,105 downloads. This is the second time that the song has dominated the charts for two weeks in a row.

The first time was the charts for May 6 and 13, 2019, after the song was digitally released on April 22 of the year. So this is the fifth No.1 honor for the OP theme for the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Its total download number has reached 808,560 times so far, two months after becoming triple platinum by surpassing 750,000 downloads in March 2020.

As reported, the song's physical CD released from SACRA MUSIC on July 3, 2019, was certified gold by The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) in February 2020. Furthermore, it has still sat on the No.1 spot of Billboard Japan's Hot Animation ranking for the recent four weeks.
