Announcement for Aikatsu! Series New Project Postponed to A Future Date

A spin-off series featuring Noel Otoshiro at Dream Academy has been streamed on YouTube

The official website for the Aikatsu! franchise announced on May 14 that an announcement for its new project is postponed to a future date due to the impact of the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The announcement was originally planned to make in June 2020.

The new project was revealed in March and has scheduled to launch for terrestrial broadcasting on TV Tokyo and its affiliates (which means it will probably include a new TV anime) in the fall of 2020. The official website writes,

"Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, we have decided to postpone the announcement for the 'Aikatsu! Series New Project,' which was scheduled for June 2020, in order to ensure the safe delivery of information to everyone. Detailed information on the new date and presentation method will be announced at a later date."

For each idol's dream, a new story starts running into the shining future!
