Fire Force Season 2 Heats Up In New Trailer and Visual Confirming July 2020 Broadcast

Fire Force season 2 will burst onto Crunchyroll!

 

The war for the sacred flame continues with the Fire Force battling it out against the Evangelist to make sure the Great Cataclysm doesn't occur again in the second season of Fire Force, which had a brand new trailer released today, alongside a new visual confirming a July 2020 broadcast and the hot new season coming to Crunchyroll from July!

The trailer previews the new opening theme song by Aimer 'SPARK-AGAIN,' while introducing viewers to some of the new characters and giving us a sneak peek of what's to come. The second season was first announced at the end of season one, with a teaser trailer and poster. In April, updated character designs for the upcoming season were shown off, with Shinra, Arthur, and Tamaki in their updated firefighting outfits, including Tamaki in a sister outfit.

 

Fire Force season 2 will be coming to Crunchyroll in July 2020, with a broadcast date to be announced. The series will launch in the U.S., Canada, U.K. Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the Netherlands.

Fire Force is based on the manga by Soul Eater creator Atsushi Okubo, Crunchyroll streamed the first season and describes it as such:

 

Tokyo is burning, and citizens are mysteriously suffering from spontaneous human combustion all throughout the city! Responsible for snuffing out this inferno is the Fire Force, and Shinra is ready to join their fight. Now, as part of Company 8, he’ll use his devil’s footprints to help keep the city from turning to ash! But his past and a burning secret behind the scenes could set everything ablaze.
