The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Yasuyuki Kosaka's fishing-themed manga Hokago Teibo Nisshi / Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater announced today that it will resume broadcasting from its first episode on July 7, 2020. Its broadcast in Japan has been halted after its third episode was aired on April 21, and its fourth episode is scheduled to be aired on July 28.
The anime's production committee writes:
"We have decided to resume broadcast and streaming of the TV anime 'Hokago Teibo Nisshi,' which has been postponed after its fourth episode due to the effect of the spread of the new coronavirus, in July. Its first episode will be rebroadcast on July 7, then its fourth episode and subsequent episodes will be aired from July 28. We will continue to work on the TV anime 'Hokago Teibo Nissh' while taking into consideration the safety of the staff and cast members for its resumption of broadcast and streaming. Please wait for a while until the resumption of the broadcast and streaming in July."
In addition, the postponed second episode of the web radio program "Hokago Teibo Radio" hosted by Kanon Takao (Hinata Tsurugi) and Natsumi Kawaida (Natsumi Hodaka) is confirmed to be streamed on June 9, 2020.
The TV anime Hokago Teibo Nisshi / Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater premiered in Japan on April 7, 2020, has been simulacst on FUNimation. Its story centers on Hina Tsurugi, who moved from the city to the countryside. She is an indoor-type girl and doesn't like living things. She originally planned to join the handicraft club to spend a happy high school life. But after accidentally meeting with Yuuki Kuroiwa while she was out for a walk, she was forced to join the mysterious "Teibou-bu" (the embankment club) and started fishing.
