Also, the anime's OP theme song "Wake Up H×ERO!" is produced by the three-member rock band BURNOUT SYNDROMES, who provided the theme songs for Haikyu!!, Gintama, and DR.STONE. The song is performed by a special unit newly formed for the anime, HXEROS SYNDROMES. And Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, the voice of the anime's male protagonist Retto Enjo, is confirmed to have joined the recording as "a featuring artist."

Message from Yoshitsugu Matsuoka:

"I'm Matsuoka, the voice cast of Retto Enjo. This time, as 'feat. Retto Enjo,' I had a pleasure to join in the form of collaboration with a professional singer. I performed to express hot passion as Retto, so I hope we can liven up HxEros with a passionate feeling together with you. I hope you're looking forward to it!"
