The Misfit of Demon King Academy

During the ANIPLEX NEXT live stream on July 2, a new trailer for upcoming TV anime The Misfit of Demon King Academy was released, previewing the ending theme song "Hamidashimono" (literally means misfit), the debut single from voice actor Tomori Kusunoki, who will also be playing the anime's main heroine Misha Necron when the show starts broadcasting from July 4.

Crunchyroll will be streaming the TV anime and describes it as such:

Anos Voldigord was a tyrannical Demon King that eradicated humans, spirits, and even the gods, but became bored of eternal warfare and reincarnated with dreams of a peaceful world. However, what awaited him in reincarnation after 2000 years were descendants who became too weak after being accustomed to peace, and all sorts of magic that deteriorated to the extreme. Anos enters Demon King Academy that gathers and educates those who are viewed as the reincarnation of the Demon King, but the academy could not see through his true powers and ends up branding him as a misfit.

The Misfit of Demon King Academy is directed by Shin Onuma and Tamura Masafumi and feature animation production by SILVER LINK. It'll air in Japan and on Crunchyroll from July 4.
