That height difference, though...
Netflix loves anime about beefy dudes bashing each other to bits, and now a special collaboration visual between two of their flagship fighting anime titles features the protagonists of Kengan Ashura and Baki squaring off.
The visual (above) features Ohma Tokita of Kengan Ashura (based on the manga written by Yabako Sandrovich and illustrated by Daromeon) towering over Baki Hanma from Baki (based on the manga by Keisuke Itagaki). The visual was created for a special video program on Netflix Japan promoting their hand-to-hand combat themed anime series.
As part of the collaboration, voice actors Nobunaga Shimazaki (the voice of Baki Hanma in the Baki Netflix anime) and Tatsuhisa Suzuki (the voice of Ohma Tokita in the Kengan Ashura Netflix anime) also commented on the visual. Shimazaki notes that he thinks it's good that Baki doesn't meet Ohma's gaze, while Suzuki comments on how their stances highlight the difference in their fighting styles. Both actors plug their series, too, and Suzuki notes that he also appears in Baki in the role of Chiharu Shiba.
