Shaft's new girl action anime is set to premiere in October 2020
Bushiroad has released a key visual for the forthcoming TV anime Assault Lily Bouquet. It depicts the protagonist girls holding their weapons called "CHARM" against the setting sun. The anime's story is set in the world in the near future, where humanity is on the verge of destruction due to the emergence creature "HUGE," and the teenage girl soldiers called "Lily" and their weapon "CHARM" is the only hope of the humanity.
The Shaft-produced TV anime is created from the mixed media project Assault Lily based on AZONE INTERNATIONAL and acus' action figure series. It was originally set to premiere in July 2020, but has been delayed to October 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Shouji Saeki (Medaka Box, Wish Upon the Pleiades) serves as director, alongside character designer Emiko Hosoi (Descending Stories: Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju) and chief animation director Kazuya Kogetsu (Gourmet Girl Graffiti).

Earth in the near future--. Humanity is on the verge of destruction due to the emergence of a mysterious creature called "HUGE."
The entire world is united to fight against HUGE, and the combined power of science and the Magi successfully created the ultimate weapon CHARM. The weapons show high synchronization with teenage girls, and those who can handle CHARM are called "Lily" and are admired as heroes.
In order to counter HUGE, the training institutes for the "Lily" girls called Garden were established all over the world, which have become the bases to protect and guide people.
This is the story of girls in the Garden, who are fighting to be a respectable "Lily."
