IDOLY PRIDE Project Unveils Virtual Live by Cast Members on August 30

TV anime has also been in the works for a Winter 2021 premiere



The official website for the "IDOLY PRIDE" mixed-media project has announced that "Music Program #1," a special program to introduce talks, the latest information, and a virtual live performance by its 11 cast members for the first time, will be streamed on YouTube Live and Abema Anime 2 Channel from 19:00 to 20:30 on August 30 (JST).


The "IDOLY PRIDE" project is co-produced by Cyber Agent's consolidated subsidiary QualiArts, Sony Music Entertainment group's Music Ray'n, and character content planning company Straight Edge. Its latest web program will offer "a new kind of visual experience that combines the cast's performances with stages and directions created with CG." 



The 11 cast members in the virtsual performance part:


  • Sayaka Kanda (as Mana Nagase)
  • Miku Tachibana (Kotono Nagase)
  • Mai Sugano (Sakura Kawasaki)
  • Moeko Yuuki (Rei Ichinose) 
  • Kokona Natsume (Nagisa Ibuki)
  • Nao Sasaki (Haruko Saeki)
  • Koharu Miyazawa (Saki Shiraishi)
  • Kanon Takao (Chisa Shiraishi)
  • Kanata Aikawa (Suzu Narumiya)
  • Moka Hyuga (Mei Hayasaka)
  • Yukina Shutou (Shizuku Hyodo)








As reported, a TV anime series from the "IDOLY PRIDE" project has also been in the works for a winter 2021 premiere in Japan.  


The TV anime is produced by Cyber Agent's newly-launched animation label CAAnimation, while Lerche (Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) works on actual anime production. Yu Kinome (Asobi Asobase assistant director) makes his directorial debut, alongside series composition writer Tatsuya Takahashi (Hatena Illusion) and character designer Sumie Kinoshita (Girlish Number)
