TV schedule revealed for upcoming original series about young women trying to make it big in stand-up comedy
The ladies will be bringing the laughs in October, because the Japanese TV schedule has been revealed for Maesetsu! Opening Act, an upcoming original TV anime about eight young women forming four comedy duos and trying to break in to the world of stand-up comedy.
Funimation describes the story of Maesetsu! Opening Act as follows:
This group of girls want nothing more than to work in the entertainment industry as professional comedians. The world may not know their names yet, but they’re ready to prove they have what it takes to make everyone laugh!
Maesetsu! Opening Act is directed by Yuu Nobuta and features animation production by Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ. The series will begin broadcasting in Japan according to the following TV schedule:
- AT-X: every Sunday during the 23:30 time slot beginning on October 04, 2020.
- TOKYO MX: every Sunday during the 24:30 time slot beginning on October 04, 2020.
- BS NTV: every Monday during the 24:00 time slot beginning on October 05, 2020.
- Mainichi Broadcasting System: every Tuesday during the 27:30 time slot beginning on October 06, 2020.
Please note that some Japanese TV schedules count early-morning programming as late-night programming of the previous day, so for example the 27:30 time slot on Tuesday evening is actually on Wednesday morning at 3:30am JST.
Maesetsu! Opening Act will also be streamed in the United States by Funimation.
