Otherside Picnic is directed by Takuya Sato (STEINS;GATE) at LIDENFILMS and FelixFilm
The TV anime adaptation of Otherside Picnic, a yuri sci-fi novel series by Iori Miyazawa, got a new trailer on September 12, showcasing the animation of the series and announcing a January 2021 broadcast date alongside more of the staff that will be bringing the series to life.
Joining director Takuya Sato (STEINS;GATE) will be Ayumi Nishihata (SHIROBAKO) working on the character designs and as the animation director on the series, Kazutaka Ema (Haganai's mechanical designs) as the creature designer, Toru Yoshida at Anime R is the Effects Animation Director, Hiroyuki Matsumoto at Atelier Platz is working on the Art Setting, You Iwaida at Assez Finaud Fabric doing the Color Design alongside Takeshi Kuchiba as Director of Photography, Yuya Shiraishi as the 3D Director, Masahiro Goto at REAL-T editing the TV anime, and Takeshi Watanabe tackling the music. Otherside Picnic will be produced at LIDENFILMS and FelixFilm
