Gintoki-narrated PV is now streamed, but no specifics are revealed
The long-running Gintama anime franchise's third and final film Gintama THE FINAL is set to be released in Japan on January 8, 2021, but that's not the end of it all. One week after the release, January 15, an all-new special anime episode is confirmed to be streamed exclusively on a Japanese streaming service dTV.
The largest Japanese mobile phone operator NTT Docomo's streaming service has also offered all episodes of the Gintama TV series and two anime films - Gintama: The Movie (2010) and Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya (2013).
dTV's official YouTube channel has posted an 80-second announcement PV narrated by Gintoki Sakata (CV: Tomokazu Sugita), but no specifics about the episode are revealed.
