Slime Gets Serious in New That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 TV Anime Trailer (UPDATED)
The popular TV anime series returns on January 12!

After building up the Tempest Federation as its own land, it's now time to defend it! The official Twitter account for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime TV anime revealed a brand new trailer for the second season of the isekai TV anime series, previewing the opening theme "Storyteller" by TRUE.
It was also announced that STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION will be performing the ending theme song with band member R・O・N in charge of the background music for The Slime Dairies in April 2021. Additional cast for the series was also announced:

Chiaki Kobayashi (Makoto "Edamame" Edamura in THE GREAT PRETENDER) voicing Shougo Taguchi

Crunchyroll will be streaming the second season of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime as it airs in Japan (just like the first season, which you can watch right now!), they describe the series as such:
Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer, and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.

The first part of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 2 will start on January 12, 2021, with the second part airing in the Summer 2021 anime season. Between those will be the spin-off TV anime series, The Slime Diaries, giving fans over 9 months of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime!
