Girls Pursue Their Dreams in IDOLY PRIDE TV Anime Trailer
"Behind the scenes" idol drama hits TOKYO MX and other stations on January 10, 2021

A new trailer has been published for IDOLY PRIDE, an upcoming "behind the scenes" idol drama TV anime that follows a group of young women that pursue their dreams of becoming the top idols in the nation of Japan.
Set in Hoshimi City in the Kanto region, the story of IDOLY PRIDE follows Hoshimi Production, a small entertainment company that hit it big with the meteoric debut of Mana Nagase, a young woman who took the idol world by storm and climbed to the top ranks of the VENUS program.
A few years later, Hoshimi Production searches for new talent, and they recruit ten girls to form an idol team, including Kotone Nagase, Mana's younger sister, and Sakura Kawasaki, a girl with a singing voice that is a dead-ringer for Mana's. While the girls of Hoshimi Production live together in a dorm and train to be top idols, they face stiff competition from rival idol groups TRINITYAiLE and LizNoir.
IDOLY PRIDE is directed by Yu Kinome and features animation production by CAAnimation and Lerche. The series will broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, BS NTV, and Animax beginning on January 10, 2021.
