Nagatoro, Her Feisty Friends, and Senpai Are Teased in New Character Art for Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro TV Anime
The sorta sweet series premieres in Spring 2021
The official Twitter account for the upcoming TV anime Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro teased the characters over the last week with new character sheets for each of the previously announced voices of the characters, including the titular Nagatoro, her friends, and the Senpai she holds dear.
Sumire Uesaka (Kyrie Canaan in the Japanese dub of Final Fantasy VII Remake, Sanae Dekomori in Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions) as Nagatoro
Daiki Yamashita (Izuku Midoriya in My Hero Academia) as Senpai
Mikako Komatsu (Susamaru in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Gamo-chan
Aina Suzuki (Mari Ohara in Love Live! Sunshine!!) as Yosshii
Shiori Izawa (Cheshire in Infinite Dendrogram) as Sakura
And to celebrate the official Twitter account reaching over 10,000 followers, two very adorable chibi icons of Senpai and Nagatoro were released, right beside each other (as they should be)!
Heading up Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro TV anime is Tower of God assistant director Hirokazu Hanai as the director, with Haikyu!! series composer Taku Kishimoto looking after the scripts, Tari Tari sub-character designer Misaki Suzuki handling the character designs, and music from Gin (Busted Rose). Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro will be animated at Telecom Animation Film (Tower of God). The series premieres in Spring 2021.
Kodansha releases the manga in both Japan and the west in English, describing the series as such:
Nagatoro is a freshman in high school who loves teasing and torturing her older male classmate! What’s her motivation and why does Senpai put up with her? Does Nagatoro just want to create misery for Senpai? Or maybe she secretly likes him?
