SK8 the Infinity TV Anime Reveals OP Theme Performer and New TV CM

BONES original series shreds its way onto the "ANiMAZiNG!!!" programming block in January of 2021

Reki is bored out of his gourd without his skateboard in a scene from the upcoming SK8 the Infinity TV anime.

It's time to skate or die, because a new TV commerical and the opening theme song performer have been revealed for SK8 the Infinity, an upcoming original TV anime about a pair of high school kids who challenge a dangerous, underground obstacle course on their skateboards.

The opening theme, entitled "Paradise", is performed by Rude-α.

The story of SK8 the Infinity follows Reki, a second year high school student with a passion for skateboarding, and Langa, a transfer student who has just returned from Canada and has never ridden on a skateboard before. Together they challenge other skaters in a top secret, no-rules competition known as "S" where the competitors skateboard through a dangerous course in an abandoned mine.

A new key visual for the upcoming original SK8 the Infinity TV anime, featuring the main cast shredding and performing tricks on their skateboards.

SK8 the Infinity is directed by Hiroko Utsumi and features animation production by BONES. The series will broadcast in Japan on Saturdays as part of the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation / TV Asahi "ANiMAZiNG!!!" programming block beginning on January 09, 2021.
