The official Japanese website for the TV anime adaptation of Nanatsu Mukunoki's four-panel Yuri comedy manga Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita! / WATATEN!: An Angel Flew Down to Me announced today that "a new anime project" is now in development. Further details including how and when it is distributed will be revealed at a later date.

The Doga Kobo-produced TV anime adaptation was aired for 12 episodes in Japan from January to March 2019 and has been available on Crunchyroll to its members worldwide except Asia.
Synopsis:
Miyako is a shy college student who is also an otaku. One day she happens to meet some angelic grade school kids! When Miyako sees her little sister's new friend Hana-chan, Miyako's heart won't stop racing! Miyako tries to get along with them but struggles... A sketch comedy all about trying to get along with the super cute girl is about to begin!
