Original TV anime by BONES hits Japanese TV and Funimation in January of 2021
It's time to enjoy some sick tricks and no holds barred competition, because a new preview video has been published for SK8 the Infinity, an upcoming original TV anime about kids who get their kicks by going head-to-head in an underground skateboarding tournament.
The story of SK8 the Infinity follows Reki, a second year high school student with a passion for skateboarding, and Langa, a transfer student who has just returned from Canada and has never ridden on a skateboard before. Together they challenge other skaters in a top secret, no-rules competition known as "S" where the competitors skateboard through a dangerous course in an abandoned mine.
SK8 the Infinity is directed by Hiroko Utsumi and features animation production by BONES. The series will broadcast in Japan on Saturdays as part of the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation / TV Asahi "ANiMAZiNG!!!" programming block beginning on January 09, 2021, and it will also stream in the United States via Funimation.
