Kaiju Conquer Australia in Pacific Rim: The Black Trailer

7 episode series from Polygon Pictures and Legendary Television hits Netflix on March 04, 2021

Taylor and Hayley, a brother-sister pair of mecha pilots, suit up and engage the "Drift" to pilot a Jaeger in a scene from the upcoming Pacific Rim: The Black Netflix original anime.

Dust off your best monster-punching attire, because a new trailer and a new key visual have been published for Pacific Rim: The Black, an upcoming Netflix original anime series set in the same world as the Pacific Rim and Pacific Rim: Uprising feature films.

Netflix describes the story of Pacific Rim: The Black as follows:

There was a time when Kaiju rose from the Pacific Rim only to encounter gigantic robots, Jaegers, built to fight them back. That time has passed. Now, Australia has been overrun by Kaiju, forcing the evacuation of an entire continent. Left behind, teenage siblings Taylor and Hayley embark on a desperate search for their missing parents, teaching themselves to pilot a battered, long-abandoned Jaeger to help in their quest and give them even the slightest hope of surviving.

A key visual for the upcoming Pacific Rim: The Black Netflix original anime, featuring the main characters, Taylor and Hayley, wearing their Jaeger pilot suits and confronting the shadow of a massive Kaiju in the Australian Outback.

Produced by Legendary Television and Polygon Pictures, Pacific Rim: The Black will begin streaming on Netflix on March 04, 2021. The series will run for 7 episodes, with each episode being approximately 30 minutes in length.
