YuruYuri Anime to Celebrate Its 10th Anniversary with Best Album & Live-streaming Program

Three TV anime series are available on Crunchyroll



The official website for the YuruYuri anime franchise has announced on that a new best album "YURUYURI GORAKUBU BEST ALBUM" is set to be released on July 21, 2021, to celebrate its tenth anniversary.


In addition to 28 songs that were previously released under the name "Nanamori Middle School Amusement Club," the CD will also include a newly-recorded "Yuriyurarararayuruyuri Daijiken 10th Anniversary Ver." Ken Iijima, the original composer of the song, will re-arrange it for the anniversary. And the bonus Blu-ray for its 5,500-yen special edition includes all of the past music videos.



In addition, a special web program hosted by the anime's four main voice actresses - Shiori Mikami (Akari Akaza), Yuka Otsubo (Kyoko Toshino), Minami Tsuda (Yui Funami), and Rumi Okubo (Chinatsu Yoshikawa) - is scheduled to be live-streamed on YouTube LIVE and Nico Nico Live for one hour from 20:00 (JST) / 04:00 (PT) on April 17, 2021. Details of the new best album will be revealed. 







The TV anime adaptation of Namori's slice-of-life yuri comedy manga series YuruYuri was aired for three seasons in Japan from July 2011 to December 2015. All of the three seasons are available on Crunchyroll.
