MHA Deku VA Daiki Yamashita Makes Solo Singer Debut with Seven Knights Revolution TV Anime ED

"It's been a tough situation... but I want to do what I can now."

Voice actor Daiki Yamashita, best known as Sakamichi Onoda in Yowamushi Pedal and Izuku Midoriya in My Hero Academia, will make his solo singer debut with his first single "Tail." The song will be featured as the ED theme for the spring 2021 TV anime Seven Knights Revolution -Eiyuu no Keishousha- (Seven Knights Revolution - The Successors of Heroes), in which he is also cast as its protagonist character, Nemo.

Yamashita made his voice acting debut in December 2012, and has performed many character songs. This is the first time that she has released a single under his own name. He writes on Twitter, "I was given the opportunity to sing a song this time! It's been a tough situation... but I want to do what I can now, jump into a world I don't know yet, and challenge myself! That's why I've made this decision! This is a step I am able to take because I am in my tenth year of voice acting career. Please watch over me!"

The song is now previewed in the anime's short version creditless ED movie.
