The official website for the anime adaptation project based on Naoshi Arakawa (Your Lie in April)'s women's football-themed manga series Sayonara Watashi no Cramer / Farewell, My Dear Cramer has announced that theatergoers of the forthcoming feature film Sayonara Watashi no Cramer First Touch / Farewell, My Dear Cramer First Touch will receive the manga's "Volume 0" as a bonus.
The film is based on Sayonara Football / Farewell Football, the prequel manga to Farewell, My Dear Cramer, focusing on the protagonist Nozomi Onda's junior high school days. Meanwhile, Farewell, My Dear Cramer is about Nozomi's high school life. The bonus manga, newly drawn by Naoshi Arakawa himself, tells an untold episode happened between the two installments.
The feature film Sayonara Watashi no Cramer First Touch / Farewell, My Dear Cramer First Touch is set to be released in Japan on June 11, 2021. It was originally set to be released in Japan on April 1, 2021, but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, the TV anime series Farewell, My Dear Cramer premiered in Japan on April 4, 2021, and has been simulcast on Cruncyroll to its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
