The "father and daughter" manga series debuted in May 2016
The official Twitter account for the Young Ace magazine revealed tonight that Rin Asano's manga series Deaimon will be getting an anime. The manga follows Nagomu Irino, who moves back to Kyoto after a decade to take over his family's confectionery shop but soon learns that instead, he has to be a father figure to Itsuka Yukihara, who has been named the successor of the business.
Manga creator Rin Asano tweeted out an illustration to celebrate the news:
The 11th volume of the Deaimon manga will be released in Japanese stores on May 1, with the series being serialized in KADOKAWA's Young Ace magazine since May 2016. No release date, staff, or cast has been announced for the anime project.
