100 panels from the long-running series will be traveling around Tokyo's streets
100 famous scenes from Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga will soon be hitting the streets of Tokyo as the manga series will be collaborating with THE TOKYO MOBILITY GALLERY Canvas to bring those panels to taxis that drive around the city. The collaboration is in celebration of 99 and 100 volumes of the Weekly Shonen Jump manga series being released this year.
The full range of panels that will be donning the taxis have already been released and can be seen below:
While some of the famous panels may bring up some tearful memories for some fans of the series, I'm sure seeing panels of One Piece whizz by on the streets of Shibuya or Akihabara more than makes up for reliving those moments in the Straw Hat's journey.
The collaboration starts on May 31, just in time for the release of the 99th volume of One Piece going on sale in Japan on June 4. The 100th volume of One Piece is scheduled to be released later this year in Japan.
