Latest animated installment based on Yui Hara's everyday comedy manga hits theaters in Japan on August 20, 2021

A new trailer has been released for Kiniro Mosaic Thank you!!, an upcoming theatrical anime film and the latest animated adaptation based on the everyday comedy manga by Yui Hara about a Japanese middle school girl who befriends a blonde-haired foreign exchange student.

 

 

The original Kiniro Mosaic manga was serialized in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Max seinen manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Yen Press. The Kiniro Mosaic anime series is licensed and released in the United States by Sentai Filmworks under the title KINMOZA!. Sentai Filmworks describes the story of the series as follows:

 

When Shinobu was in middle school, she studied in England. Shinobu has had warm feelings for everything English ever since. So when Shinobu learns that the daughter of her host family, Alice, is coming to study in Japan, she’s thrilled. But will Alice fit in with Shinobu’s friends? How will the arrival of Shinobu’s rival affect the potential culture clash? Every day is an adventure in diplomacy and self discovery as a group of girls learn new lessons about each other and themselves in KINMOZA!

 

Kiniro Mosaic Thank you!! focuses on a school trip to Nara and Kyoto that Shinobu and company take during their third year in middle school.

 

A new key visual for the upcoming Kiniro Mosaic Thank you!! anime theatrical film, featuring the five main characters dressed in their school uniforms and posing in front of blooming cherry blossom trees while holding their certificates of high school graduation.

 

Kiniro Mosaic Thank you!! is directed by Munenori Nawa and features animation production by Studio Gokumi / AXsiZ. The film is scheduled to hit Japanese theaters on August 20, 2021.
