Record of Ragnarok Anime 2nd Season Gets The Green Light

Its 12-episode first season will be also aired on Japanese TV from October 1



The official Japanese website for the anime adaptation of Shinya Umemura (composition), Takumi Fukui (story), and Ajichika (art)'s fantasy battle manga Record of Ragnarok announced today that its second season is now officially in the works. According to the site, the decision was made in response to the overwhelming response from all over the world. When and how it will be distributed is currently unknown.


The anime's 12-episode first season animated by Graphinica was premiered exclusively on Netflix worldwide in June 2021. It was also confirmed that the first season will be aired on TOKYO MX, BS11, and MBS from October 1, 2021, then on Cartoon Network in Japan from October 3.


To celebrates the two announcements, the anime's character designer Masaki Sato has provided a special illustration on Twitter.
