"To to find a view that I want to see, I'll keep running, even if I can't."
The official YouTube channel for voice actress/singer Shuka Saito posted a full music video for "Mou Miru, Demo Hasiru" (I can't do it anymore, but I'm gonna run), the first song in her first full album "Patchwork" released in Japan yesterday, August 18.
The song was produced based on her actual words "I can't do it anymore, but I still want to run." It expresses her strong will to "keep running with all my might" no matter how many times she hits the wall due to frustrations and hardships. And its music video also depicts her repeating "falling down, crying, and running" from now on.
She wrote on Twitter, "This song began with the words that came out from my mouth without realizing it, 'I can't do it anymore, but I still want to run.' To find a view that I want to see, I'll keep running, even if I can't."
Saito is best known as You Watanabe in the Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise and has performed as a member of its voice actress idol unit Aqours. She made her solo artist debut from SACRA MUSIC in August 2019. Her first full album "Patchwork" contains the title song from her major debut mini-album "Kutsuhimo," her first single songs "36℃/Papapa," and her second single song "Sekai no Hate," as well as many new songs.
