Shueisha announced today that its Jump Festa event, which celebrates the many manga series and magazines the company publishes, will be held as a joint online and offline event, with the offline portion being held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, similar to Jump Festa events in the past.

Tickets for the in-person event will only be allowed through a lottery, with only a limited number available. The online event will be similar to that of Jump Festa 2021 with the app and Jump Festa Island. Some stage events will be streamed through the app as they were last year. More information about both sides of the event will be announced in due time.

Jump Festa has been held every year since 1999, with its first event at Tokyo Big Sight then moving to Makuhari Messe outside of Tokyo in 2000, where it was held every year since other than last year when it was moved online. The last in-person event in 2019 attracted over 140,000 people over the two days.
