Some quick news for fans of parallel world fantasy and otaku pop culture: Funimation has announced the acquisition of Rumble Garanndoll (known in Japan as Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shojo: Rumble Garanndoll), an original TV anime about a group of rebellious young people trying to keep Japan's various sub cultures alive after the nation is conquered by an army from a parallel time-line.
A decade after a rift to an alternate world suddenly opens in the sky, host Hosomichi is teaming up with a group of otaku and pilots to take back their identities.
