Deaimon follows Nagomu Irino, who moves back to Kyoto after a decade to take over his family's confectionery shop but soon learns that instead, he has to be a father figure to Itsuka Yukihara, who has been named the successor of the family business.
Fumitoshi Oizaki (Romeo × Juliet) is directing Deaimon at Encourage Films, where Oizaki is also the CEO, with Reiko Yoshida (Violet Evergarden) writing the scripts, and Sakae Shibuya (Girl Friend Site) as the character designer and animation director. The company Midorimatsu is also helping to produce the anime series.
